Hi, my name is Maria Antonieta.

Maria Antonieta is a Kidlit illustrator and digital artist from Mexico. She graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro, Facultad de Bellas Artes in 2007, with a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree, specializing in graphic design. Her artwork is colorful and textured, She loves to draw funny characters with meaningful stories, and over all, she wants to make others happy with her illustrations.

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her dog and cat, read books, watch movies, she loves documentaries about history and art. Also, she likes to read a good book and drink a tea. She enjoys taking a walk in the morning just to see the dawn.

-I born in Mexico city but I have lived all my life in Queretaro city.

-I worked as graphic designer for many years, but I changed to Illustration. And I don't regret it, it's the best decision I have ever made. I identify myself more as illustrator, although everything I learned in graphic design is something that I still use today in my work.

-I speak some Japanese, I took the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N4 and I approved. Yay!
